To create a strong and structured garment, we have chosen to use heavy weight cotton and a silver leatherette, as well as clear PVC. For the pleated skirt, we wanted to emphasise movement, to do this we are going to use a plain grey fabric for the main of the skirt and a silver reflective fabric for the inverted pleats. This idea will mean that any movement in the garment is emphasized by a 'flash' of light reflecting.
