Connection

The connection between the skeleton. The skeleton gives us protection and movement, the spinal cord is a vital part of the nervous system and transmits neural signals around the body. I will focus on the protection the skeleton gives to our major organs and the connection between our spinal cord and brain, joints, and muscle.

Issey Miyake

30 Years of Japanese Fashion, Exhibition, Barbican Centre London

This was an exhibition, showcasing Japanese fashion from the early 1800's to the present.
It included work from Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto and Rei Kawakubo. Japanese Fashion is used to challenge the western ideas, rather than creating fashion for beauty it is used as an expression of art.

Sam Taylor Wood

These are a few examples of Sam Taylor Woods work, she is a British photographer, film maker
and conceptual artist. The absence of the chair in the shadow,
and the un-natural 'balance' of the woman and the chair are what make these innovative.
